STU BATTLES CARDINAL STRITCH TO DRAW IN DOUBLE OT

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – 11th ranked St. Thomas (4-2-1) played Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) (1-1-1) to a scoreless, double-overtime double tie.  The neutral-site contest was played in extremely wet conditions at Northwood University in West Palm Beach, with steady rain for the majority of the game.

Michelle Bailey came closest to posting a goal for STU as she lead the team with four shots on goal. Andreina Sifontes had two shots on goal, while the only other shot for the Bobcats came from Alessandra Salazar.

Cristina Garwacki was able to preserve the shutout for the Bobcats as she played all 120 minutes for the Bobcats on goal and made one save.

STU starts up conference play on Friday vs. Thomas (Ga.) with a 4 p.m. start time at Bobcat Field.
