Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. - St. Thomas (10-4, 3-0 TSC) remained undefeated in Sun Conference play with a straight set win over Southeastern (6-4, 1-1) Saturday afternoon in Lakeland, Fla.  The Bobcats won the first set 25-20, then put away the Fire with 25-16 and 25-18 victories in the second and third.

Whitney Battoe (8 kills) and Samantha Garza (7 kills) were the leading hitters for STU, while setter Dana Nowaczyk led all players with 28 assists.

The Bobcat service game was especially strong with Garza serving up a season-best five aces.  In all, St. Thomas recorded eight service aces across the three sets.

STU continues Sun Conference play on Friday at 7 p.m. with a home match vs. Warner at the Fernandez Family Center.
