Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - St. Thomas (0-4-0) lost a non-conference match to Northwood (1-1-0), 3-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Arrigo-Vecellio Field in West Palm Beach.

Northwood scored just 22 seconds into the affair on a goal by Theo Stamatopoulos, then extended the lead to two goals on a goal in the 29th minute.  Trailing 2-0 at halftime, the Bobcats rallied back less than two minutes into the second half with a goal by Chris Valdez off a cross by Marcelo Norton.  The score remained 2-1 until Stamatopoulos gave the Seahawks an insurance goal in the 85th minute.

Northwood out-shot STU 17-9.  Jack Hubbard had five saves at goalkeeper for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats return to action on Sept. 13 vs. Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) in a neutral site game also played at Arrigo-Vecellio Field in West Palm Beach.
