MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – No. 2 ranked Embry-Riddle (16-0, 4-0 TSC) defeated St. Thomas (7-7, 2-3 TSC) in an overtime thriller 63-59 Wednesday night at the Fernandez Family Center.Â

The Bobcats led the Eagles by two points in the closing seconds before ERAU's Daniel Kiesling grabbed an offensive rebound and finished with a layup at the buzzer off a missed three-pointer by Cesar Pastrana. With the game tied 52-52 heading into overtime, the Eagles went on to outscore the Bobcats 11-7 for the win.

ERAU was led by Dalton Barnes who scored 27 points. DeForest Carter, who was held scoreless throughout regulation, scored seven of the Eagles' 11 points in the overtime period.

David Santiago led the Bobcats with 23 points on 8-of-19 shooting, but fouled out with 49 seconds left.Â
Michael Walker and
Lorel Beckford each scored 11 points. Walker also collected a game-high five steals.
