BOBCATS SEAL WIN OVER CINCINNATI CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY IN SECOND GAME OF SHOWCASE

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - St. Thomas (3-3) seals their second showcase game 74-61 over Cincinnati Christian University (4-2).  Michael Walker lead all members in scoring with 24 points on the evening.  Following Walker was his teammate Armond Shoon who was the Bobcats second leading scorer as he accumulated 15 points.  Both Shoon and Walker's points combine totaled over half of the game's final points.

With the start of the first half the Bobcats would take an early lead.  With a pressing offense and CCU trailing, the Bobcats would continue to press the pace as they lead the Eagles 39-29 headed into the half.  Continuing play into the second half, the Eagles would continue to struggle in finding a solution both offensively and defensively.  From an offensive standpoint, the Bobcats shot 46 percent from the field and 76 percent from the free throw line.  St. Thomas would prove to be the more efficient team at the conclusion of the game with the final score of 74 to 61.

Back to the grind, St. Thomas will return back home to Miami Gardens for a match-up against Sun Conference opponent Keiser University?.  Tip-off is set for 4:00 P.M. E.T. on Saturday, December 5th in The Fernandez Family Center.
