DILLON, Mont., - The St. Thomas Women's Basketball team were defeated by Montana-Western 70-57 on Wednesday night in the first game of the Bobcats' cross country road trip to Montana. The Bobcats played the Bulldogs to a 14-14 tie after the first period and trailed by one point at halftime. Montana-Western then pulled away in the second half, outscoring STU 16-12 in the third period and 27-19 in the fourth.

Jamesha Willis led the Bobcats in scoring, each with 14 points. The Bobcats were active defensively, recording 20 steals with
Samara Auguste leading the way with eight. Willis registered five steals, while
Desanta' Franklin-Jordan notched four.
The road trip continues for the Bobcats with a game at Montana Tech in Butte, Mont. on Friday night.
