St. Thomas vs. Rochester

BOBCATS STREAK TO 2-O IN DAYTONA BEACH SHOOTOUT

Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - St. Thomas conquered Rochester College 64-51 in its second win at the Daytona Beach Shootout.  Leading the Bobcats was sophomore Tim Sada, who scored 20 points on six three-pointers.  In addition to Sada's performance, two other Bobcats would score in double-digits on the evening with Michael Walker scoring 14 points and Armand Shoon adding 10.

The Bobcats defense held strong against the Warriors, creating 28 points off turnovers and outscoring their opponent in both periods of the match.  St. Thomas would also score 20 points within the paint, record 12 points off of second chance opportunities, and accumulate an additional 18 points from the bench.

The Bobcats will return home for the Athlete's Meals Classis held at the Fernandez Family Center in Miami Gardens Fla. They will face-off against the University of the Virgin Islands Tuesday, December 29th 8:30 p.m.  Following the conclusion of that game, the Bobcats will return to the hardwood Wednesday, December 30th at 8:30 p.m. vs. Siena Heights University (Mich.).
