Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - St. Thomas defeated William Carey 76-65 in its first game at the Daytona Beach Shooutout late Saturday night.  The Bobcats were led by senior James Vice who scored 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including two three-pointers.  Tim Sada also scored in double-figures with13 points, hitting three shots of his own beyond the arc.
 
STU trailed 33-30 heading into intermission, but rallied with a dominant performance in the second half outscoring William Carey 46-32.

Play continues Sunday at the Daytona Beach Shootout with STU set to face Rochester College at 8 p.m. the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.
