Box Score St. Thomas 3, MidAmerica Nazarene 1 

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - St. Thomas (7-2) defeated MidAmerica Nazarene (4-2) 3-1 (25-9, 25-22, 21-25, 27-25) to conclude The Athletes Meals Invitational at the Fernandez Family Center.

Whitney Battoe led all players with a season-high 18 kills, while Marisa Markus (13 kills) and Samantha Garza (11 kills) also recorded double-digit kills.  Setter Dana Nowaczyk led all players with 47 assists to go along with two aces.  Jordan Wiese led the Bobcats defensively with 12 digs.

STU dominated the opening set by the score of 25-9, then took a 2-0 advantage after a 25-22 win in the second set.  The Bobcats dropped the third set, then won the match with a 27-25 win in set four.
