MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Katie Rienas scored 27 points, hitting five three-pointers as St. Thomas (4-7, 3-1 TSC) defeated Warner (6-8, 1-3 TSC) 68-54 on Wednesday in a Sun Conference match up at the Fernandez Family Center.

Reinas was spectacular, hitting 8-of-13 shots from the field and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.  Jamesha Willis recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Supavadee Kunchuan also registered a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

The Bobcats, playing with just five players, led most of the affair beginning with a 23-12 advantage after the first quarter and building a double-digit lead in the second half.

St. Thomas returns to action on Saturday with at crosstown rival Johnson & Wales in North Miami.
