OVERTIME WIN FOR BOBCATS AT NAIA SOUTHEASTERN CHALLENGE

Box Score BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - 15th ranked St. Thomas (2-0) continued its success at the NAIA Southeastern Challenge with a 75-72 overtime win over Bluefield (0-4) at the NAIA Southeastern Challenge.
 
Michael Walker posted his second double-double in as many games with a 22-point, 10-rebound performance to lead the Bobcats.  Armando Shoon scored 16 pts, while Tim Sada registered 14 points on four three-pointers.  Raheem Bowman added 11 points as four Bobcats scored in double-digits for the second consecutive game.
 
STU led by as many as 11 points in the first half and 36-31 at halftime, before Bluefield came back to tie the game 68-68 at the end of regulation.  The Bobcats trailed 71-68 in the overtime period, but a Sada three-pointer tied the game at 71-71 with 2:41 remaining.  Free throws by Bowman and Shoon then gave the Bobcats the advantage down the stretch.
 
St. Thomas returns to action on Saturday at 6 p.m. vs. host Union (Ky.) in the final game of the NAIA Southeastern Challenge continues in Barbourville, Ky.
