BOBCATS DOMINATE JWU ON SENIOR NIGHT

Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Supavadee Kunchuan set career highs with 25 points and 15 rebounds as St. Thomas (13-9, 12-3 TSC) dominated Johnson & Wales (4-18, 3-12 TSC) 72-47 on Senior Night at the Fernandez Family Center. 
 
It marked the fourth double-double of the season for Kunchuan who shot 7-of-12 from the field, including a made three-pointer, and 10-of-13 from the free throw line. 
 
In addition to Kunchuan, Katie Rienas (14 pts), Samara Auguste (14 pts) and Bianca Partlow (10 pts) all scored in double figures as well for the Bobcats who won the game with just six available players.
 
The Bobcats ran out to a 19-9 lead in the first quarter, then took a 33-16 lead into halftime.  Kunchuan scored 12 points in the first stanza on 3-of-5 shooting including a made three-pointer.  She also pulled down nine rebounds in the first half.
 
After JWU outscored the Bobcats 14-12 in the third, STU used a 10-0 run to put away the Wildcats in the fourth quarter.
 
St. Thomas concludes its regular season on Saturday at Ave Maria.  Tip off is set for 2 p.m. at the Tom Golisano Field House.
