BIG SECOND HALF PROPELS STU TO ROAD WIN OVER WEBBER

Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – St. Thomas (14-7, 8-3 TSC) came from behind with a dominant second half to defeat host Webber International (10-16, 3-10 TSC) 76-62 on Saturday evening. 
 
Michael Walker led St. Thomas with 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds.  Tim Sada scored 12 points, hitting two three-pointers and going 4-for-4 from the free throw line.  James Vice also scored in double figures with 10 points.  Off the bench, Stefan Brown was outstanding on the glass, recording a game-high 10 rebounds.
 
After trailing 37-33 at halftime, the Bobcats outscored the Warriors 43-25 in the second half.  The Bobcats were brilliant defensively in the second stanza, holding the Warriors to 27% shooting from the field and not allowing a three-pointer.  Offensively, Walker heated up by scoring 14 of his 16 points in the second half.
 
St. Thomas finished the game on an 8-0 run, holding WIU scoreless over the final 3:18.
 
STU returns to Sun Conference play with a home game vs. Thomas Univ. (Ga.) on Monday night at 8 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center.
