STU FALLS TO WEBBER, INTO THIRD PLACE IN CONFERENCE

BABSON PARK, Fla. –St. Thomas (9-9, 8-3 TSC) fell to host Webber International (16-8, 10-2 TSC) 63-49 on Saturday afternoon to fall into third place in The Sun Conference standings.  
 
The Bobcats were led by Jamesha Willis who scored a game-high 18 points in the defeat.  Samara Auguste scored 12 points and Supavadee Kunchuan grabbed 10 rebounds.  Webber was led by Jermisha Mcrae who scored 16 points.
 
St. Thomas led 12-8 at the end of the first quarter and the two teams were tied at 25-25 at halftime.  The Warriors pulled away in the second half, including a 22-11 advantage in the fourth quarter.
 
STU returns to action on Monday night with a conference game vs. Thomas (Ga.) at 6 p.m. at the Fernandez Family Center.
