Box Score Savannah, Ga. – St Thomas (4-2, TSC 0-1) suffered a loss in their conference opener against Savannah College of Art and Design (3-6, TSC 1-0) 1-0 on Friday afternoon. The match was the Sun Conference opener for both teams. 
 
St. Thomas came into the game on a three match win streak but saw that snapped as SCAD took the 1-0 win from the Bobcats. 
 
The teams went into the half tied as they both tried to be aggressive and take what they could get on the offensive end. The story of the match was both teams' resilient defenses. Neither team allowed a goal until the 62^nd minute of the match where SCAD took the 1-0 lead and didn't look back.
