Box Score  MIAMI GARDENS, Florida  – St. Thomas (15-6, 6-3 TSC) scored a season-high 106 points as seven players scored in double figures in a 106-51 rout of Ave Maria (5-16, 3-7 TSC) Thursday night at the Fernandez Family Center.Â
Timothy Sada led the Bobcats with 22 points, while
Raheem Bowman (16 pts, 10 rebs) and
Kristers Zeidaks (12 pts, 10 rebs) each recorded double-doubles.
Seven Bobcats ended up with double-digit points:
Armand Shoon, Sada, Zeidaks, Bowman,
Mikhail Rolle,
Darwin Trotman, and
Tyrone Haughton. On a night highlighted by thunderous dunks and a plethora of three pointers, STU led big 60-33 in the first half, and continued their effort in the second half scoring 46, while holding the Gyrenes to 18 points. The Bobcats finished the night shooting 60% in field goals.
Next up for the Bobcats is another Sun Conference matchup against Southeastern 7 p.m. in Lakeland, Florida.
