MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- St. Thomas (10-11, 6-4 TSC) fell to Johnson and Wales (3-18, 2-7 TSC) by a final score of 82-78 on Saturday night.
Katie Rienas and
Supavadee Kunchuan both finished with 18 points on the night to lead all Bobcat players in scoring. They led by 13 points in the first half, but Johnson and Wales went on a 15-1 run to take the lead at halftime. It was a back-and-fourth game, which saw four lead changes. JWU was able to put up 24 second-chance points, which assisted in their victory.
Next up for the Bobcats is on February 2 at 6 p.m. against Florida Memorial at home as part of Homecoming Week here at St. Thomas University.
