LAKE WALES, Fla. – #21 St. Thomas (10-6, TSC 2-3) fell to #5 Warner University (15-2, TSC 4-2) by a final score of 69-88. Both teams came off two days of rest entering into the Saturday afternoon contest at the Turner Athletic Center.

The Royals took a 12-0 lead to start the game before
Armand Shoon hit a jumper to get the Bobcats on the scoreboard. Warner then went on to increase their lead to 16 points with 14:26 remaining in the first half.
Shortly thereafter, St. Thomas scored 11 unanswered points to close the gap to five points with just under 10 minutes left in the first half. The first half would finish 31-50, in favor of the Royals.
Warner reached their largest lead of the game, a 29 point margin, with 9:38 remaining in the second half. Their success could be attributed to the 29 turnovers by the Bobcats.
The Royals were led by Nick Macon and Warren Hall. Macon had 12 points, 14 assists, and 10 steals, resulting in a triple-double. Hall was the overall leading scorer for the game with 31 points.
Raheem Bowman had another outstanding individual performance for St. Thomas, once again producing a double-double. He led all players with 23 rebounds, a career high for Bowman, and added 14 points to his stat line.
The Bobcats will return to action against Southeastern University on Thursday at 7 p.m. in a Sun Conference contest at the Fernandez Family Center.
