Warner Takes Game One

LAKE WALES, Fla. - Warner (9-7, 2-2 TSC) took game one of a three-game road Sun Conference series over St. Thomas (7-14, 3-1 TSC) Friday afternoon. 

Jamie Gonzalez led the Bobcats offensively going 2-3 while Alexis Castroman went 1-2.

The Royals jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first, the added two more runs later in the contest en route to the shutout.

Jessica Castiglione pitched a complete game for the Bobcats, allowing three runs, two earned, on three hits with three strikeouts and three walks.

The series concludes Saturday with a doubleheader in Lake Wales.
