Box Score FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - St. Thomas University's Men's Basketball team (5-6, 4-1 TSC) falls in a one game match up in the Cruzin' Classic on Tuesday night at the Broward County Convention Center against NCAA Division II opponent Drury University (7-5) by a score of 54-71.
The Cougars of Drury University jumped out to an early fourteen-point lead within the first eight minutes of the match up. The Bobcats struggled through the first half as their field goal shooting percentage was 33.33% and only totaled 25 points, the second lowest in a half on the year. With five minutes left, STU spread the offense love as five Bobcats scored to cut the lead to ten-points heading into the half.
In the second half, St. Thomas started to battle back and forth as they never let the Panthers out of their sight. Through the first seven minutes, the Bobcats rallied back to bring the game within three-points. Kheron Milllwood started with a layup, then the STU defense recorded a rebound by

Adam McNeill drove it into the basket and scored, the final dagger came from back-to-back threes from
Amir Hill and Phillip Saunders. From that point on the Panthers took a 26 to 12 run to end the game.
St. Thomas will be back in action Thursday evening with a 7 p.m. tip at the Fernandez Family Center against NAIA opponent Indiana Tech University.
