THOMASVILLE, Ga. – St. Thomas University [3-3, 0-1-1 TSC] draw in a double-overtime match against Thomas University [1-3-2, 0-0-1 TSC].
 
STU was first to get on the board thanks to a goal from Senior Kortney Hinden, who netted her second goal of the season in the 8^th minute of the match.
 
The defense led by Kylie Braeseke, Amanda Gordon, Whitney Clark, Nicole Maribona, and keeper Veronica Gonzalez; kept the Nighthawks to only 3 shots in the first half two of which were saves from the freshmen Gonzalez.
 
Thomas' Cara Eaton was able to knot the game at when she scored in the 84^th minute.
 
The match was then sent into overtime where the Golden Goal Rule come into effect. First team to score a goal wins. Neither team was able to capitalize in the two extra 10-minute periods, leaving the match to end in a draw.
 
The Bobcats are back in action next Saturday at home against Warner University at 6 p.m.
