MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – St. Thomas University (1-2) drops yet another overtime match against NCAA Division II Nova Southeastern University (3-1), with a final score of 4-3.
 
The Bobcats got out to an early start with Pedro Silva scoring his first goal of the season in the 4^th minute of the match assisted by Abraham Bibas. Silva later decided to return the favor, giving Bibas his first goal of the season in the 12^th minute giving the Bobcats an early 2-0 lead in the first half.
 
Newcomer Lasse Lahrtz got his first start today and it took him 14 minutes to get his first goal as a Bobcat as he was led by forward Alejo Binaghi, on a break away from the defense.
 
The Nova Sharks got on the board in the 30^th minute with a goal scored by Aleks Berg, to head into the half with a score 3-1.
 
From Nova's first goal, they did not look back as they scored again in the 46^th minute and the 86^th minute to force the game into overtime.
 
In the 92^nd minute the Sharks scored in the first period of overtime with the Golden Goal in affect, they took the come from behind victory to take the game with a final score of 4-3.
 
The Bobcats will be back in action on Wednesday night as they take on another local Division II team, Barry University, at Bobcat Field at 7 p.m.
