MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – St. Thomas University (1-2) drops yet another overtime match against NCAA Division II Nova Southeastern University (3-1), with a final score of 4-3.

The Bobcats got out to an early start with
Pedro Silva scoring his first goal of the season in the 4
th minute of the match assisted by
Abraham Bibas. Silva later decided to return the favor, giving Bibas his first goal of the season in the 12
th minute giving the Bobcats an early 2-0 lead in the first half.

Newcomer
Lasse Lahrtz got his first start today and it took him 14 minutes to get his first goal as a Bobcat as he was led by forward Alejo Binaghi, on a break away from the defense.

The Nova Sharks got on the board in the 30
th minute with a goal scored by Aleks Berg, to head into the half with a score 3-1.

From Nova's first goal, they did not look back as they scored again in the 46
th minute and the 86
th minute to force the game into overtime.

In the 92
nd minute the Sharks scored in the first period of overtime with the Golden Goal in affect, they took the come from behind victory to take the game with a final score of 4-3.

The Bobcats will be back in action on Wednesday night as they take on another local Division II team, Barry University, at Bobcat Field at 7 p.m.
