Lakeland, Fla. ( January 10th, 2018) - The St. Thomas University Men's Basketball team (6-10, 5-3 TSC) lost on the road in Sun Conference play against #11 Southeastern University (15-3, 8-0 TSC) on Thursday evening from the "Furnace" on the campus of SEU.

Game Notes

• St. Thomas trailed the 11th-ranked Southeastern University by one, following a Justin Brown lay-up, just three minutes into the game at 8-7.
• The Fire took advantage of Bobcat turnovers and went into the halftime break leading STU by 16, 47-31.
• STU could not generate much momentum in the second half and only could cut the SEU lead to 12 and it was too late.
• STU fell for the third time in Sun Conference play, losing to the 11th Southeastern Fire, 81-65.
