th, 2019) – (RV) St. Thomas University Women's Basketball team (18-5, 10-2 TSC) defeated the College of Coastal Georgia Mariners (14-8, 8-5 TSC) 78-71 in The Sun Conference Game of the Week.

- The Bobcats jumped to an early 8-1 lead over the Mariners within the first three-minutes of play.
- Keiana Brooks led the way hitting the first three shots she took.
- STU took a 19-12 lead into the second quarter.
- The second quarter was no different as the Bobcats open play with back-to-back three-pointers from Samara Auguste and Destiny Wilson.
- CCGA brought it between five as they went on a 6-2 run.
- The Bobcats then retaliated with a 15-6 run of their own to head into halftime.
- A Jaddah Knight three-pointer put the Bobcats up to their largest lead of the game at 13 in the third quarter.
- The Mariners battled back on a 12-2 run to bring the game within three as the margin would remain this way the rest of the quarter.
- The fourth quarter would become the 'Auguste Show' as she scored 13-points, which included a fourth-point play.

- The three ball was seen to be the difference maker as the Bobcats shot 50% from beyond the arc and the Mariners shot 0-7.
- Coastal Georgia outscored St. Thomas 50-22 in point in the paint.
