THOMASVILLE, Ga. (October 12, 2019) – The twelfth ranked St. Thomas University Men's Soccer team (9-1, 3-1 TSC) defeated the Thomas University Nighthawks (4-8, 2-3 TSC) on the road on Saturday afternoon from the TU Soccer Complex. The Bobcats defeated the Nighthawks by a final score of 3-0 to bring their win streak to three.

Game Notes:
- The freshmen, Acerbi, got his fifth start on the year in the net while also picking up his fifth win.
- The Bobcat offense applied the pressure early accumulating six shots and two corner kicks in the first thirty minutes.
- St. Thomas defense continued their dominance as they only allowed two shots in the first half.
- The Bobcats first goal came off a great connection. Domber started with winning a throw in from the Nighthawks in the middle while then switching the field and passing it out to Matt Roberts.
- Roberts then crossed it from 35-yards out on the left side and found the head of Tobias Rodriguez in the six-yard box putting it past the keeper on the backside of the net.
- Goal number two came in the 69th minute as Domber recovered a loose ball on the 20-yard line on their half and dribbled into the 18-yard box and shot a missile to the top right corner.
- Santiago Gil put the icing on the cake in the 89th minute as he capitalized on a deflected shot from the keeper and put a soft touch pass in the open goal.
