LAKE WALES, Fla. (October 12, 2019) – The St. Thomas University Women's Soccer team (5-3-1, 3-1-1 TSC) defeated the Warner University Royals (2-9, 1-4 TSC) on the road on Saturday evening from Royals Field. The Bobcats defeated the Royals by a final score of 2-1.

- Lefebvre, got her ninth straight start in the net and recorded her fifth win on the year.
- The Bobcats wasted no time getting on the board as Jüllich scored a goal in her first attempt in the third minute of the match. The St. Thomas forward was able to take advantage of a rebound and put the ball passed the keeper.
- Royals scored the equalizer in the 33rd minute.
- Benito squeezed in a last second attempt in the final four seconds of the half but was just a bit wide, sending it tied into halftime.
- Bobcats defensive line kept the Royals quiet in the second half not allowing a single shot.
- The newcomer on the squad, Leslie Celis had a debut to remember of the bench scoring her first collegiate goal.
- Manzur Wunsch took a shot on goal and after a goalkeeper deflection, Celis was in the right spot at the right time to get what ended up being the game-winning goal in the 79th minute.
- STU held on to win the game and are now tied for fourth place in Sun Conference play.
