MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (October 26, 2019) – No. 13 St. Thomas University (10-2-1, 4-2-1 TSC) tied SCAD – Savannah (5-4-2, 3-2-2, TSC) 2-0 in the Sun Conference Match of the Week on Saturday evening from Bobcat Field.

Game Notes

• St. Thomas dominated the first half of the Sun Conference Match of the Week, outshooting SCAD, 3-1, in the first half and recording the lone goal.
• In the 23^rd minute, Stoffle netted his second goal of the season, capitalizing on a cross from Zanna and putting it into the back of the net from the right side of the box.
• The Bobcat defense held the Bees to zero shots-on-goal in the first half.
• Landabaru netted his second goal of the season, five minutes into the second half, expanding the STU lead to 2-0.
• In the final ten minutes of the Match of the Week, SCAD began their comeback. The Bees cut the Bobcat lead in half following a penalty kick goal.
• SCAD tied the game in the 85^th minute, scoring from 45-yards out on a free kick.
• The game went into the first overtime and only SCAD took a shot-on-goal.
• In the second OT period, STU had two opportunities on goal, failing to score on either.
• The Bobcats tied the Bees, in the Sun Conference Match of the Week and fall to third place in the Sun Conference playoff hunt, with two matches remaining in the regular season.
