KISSIMMEE, Fla. (November 1, 2019) - St. Thomas University Women's Basketball (1-0) opened the 2019-20 campaign with an emphatic, 76 - 40 win, over the Johnson University Suns (0-4) on Saturday evening from the Sun Dome.

- Rodriguez opened the scoring for STU, splashing home a three-pointer off a Martinez - Sans assist.
- A 6-1 run by the Suns, put the Bobcats down 4-6, before a Wilson fastbreak lay-up tied the game at 6-6.
- Wilson added a three-pointer of her own to give STU an 11-8 lead and St. Thomas didn't look back, never trailing again.
- With thirty seconds remaining in the first quarter, Domond added a fastbreak lay-up to extend the St. Thomas lead to 20-10.

- Domond gave STU the largest lead of the game (36), following a lay-up to put the Bobcats in front, 69-33.
- Rodriguez added another five-points, finishing the game with 17, as St. Thomas sealed the 76-40 win to open the season.
