Game Notes:
- Marx got his sixth straight start in the net, collecting a 7-1-2 record on the year.
- The Vikings stroke first as they scored off a keeper deflection in the 10th minute to take an early lead.
- St. Thomas would quickly regather themselves and take control of the game winning in the possession column.
- They were able to put together four shots but were unlucky in getting one in the back of the net.
- The second half once again was a hot start for MVC as they scored, what would end up being the game-winning goal, just two minutes into the half making it a 20=-0 game.
- St. Thomas was continuing to push as the opportunities were flowing for them getting a good amount into the 18-yard box.
- In the 65th minute things began to turn in favor of the Bobcats.
- Nico Luchetti took a beautiful shot into the top left corner after Moreira set him up nicely with the one touch pass.
- This brought the game within one with twenty minutes of play left.
- Shortly after, an MVC player received a red card, eliminating him from play and putting them a man down.
- STU began to attack on a consistent basis keeping the game on the Viking half and applying constant pressure.
- Towards the end of the game, three Bobcats recorded red cards leaving the setup an 8-v-10.
- The Bobcats were unable to overcome the deficit and the Vikings solidified their faith with a goal with nine seconds remaining, making it 3-1.
