MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 8, 2019) - (RV) St. Thomas University (2-0) finished a season sweep over Johnson University (0-6) on Friday evening, as the Bobcats defeated the Suns, 72-35 from the Fernandez Family Center.

- St. Thomas charged out of the gates, opening the game with a 12-0 run;Wilson splashed two consecutive three-pointer, Domond added four points and Brooks capped off the run with a fastbreak lay-up.
- Kayla Rodriguez added five straight points for STU, extending the Bobcat lead to 22-9.
- STU held JU to seven points in the second quarter, heading into the halftime break leading 37-16.
- Martinez - Sanz kick-started a 9-0 run to open the second half, converting a lay-up. Wilson added to the run with another three-point bucket, pushing the STU lead to 48-18.
- Samaria August scored ten points in the second half, shooting 67%, giving the Bobcats a boost off the bench.
