MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 9, 2019) - St. Thomas University Men's Basketball (1-0) opened up the
D.P. Harris-era with a resounding, 89-67 win over Point Park University (2-1) on Saturday afternoon from the Fernandez Family Center.

- St. Thomas began the Harris-era with an incredible, 25-2 run, in the first ten minutes of the game.
- Brown recorded eight-of-25 points.
- Nick Strawter added a three-pointer to push the lead to 30-5.
- Gilbert recorded five consecutive points to maintain a twenty-point advantage, 39-18, with five minutes remaining in the first half.
- Lee Richmond added a three-pointer, before the halftime break, as the Bobcats went into the break leading 52-29.
- Brown and Gilbert each recorded fourteen points in the first half, as the duo almost outscored the Pioneers, 28-29.
- Four consecutive points from Brown, including a fast-break dunk, keeping STU in front, 56-36.
- Point Park did not get within eighteen points the rest of the game, as the Bobcats cruised to a 89-67 win on Opening Night.
