LAKE WALES, Fla. (March 2^nd, 2019) – The St. Thomas University Men's Tennis team (3-4) defeated Warner University (3-7) in Sun Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Singles Action

• On court one, Kevin Cubela won an exciting three-set match, registering the first STU point (4-6, 6-4, 6-4).
• Fabrice Bissainthe lost in three sets (2-6, 6-2, 2-6).
• Paolo Quintella dropped his contest (3-6, 3-6).
• Jacobo Nieto picked up the second STU point of the match, winning (6-4, 6-1).
• Damian Etchevest also picked up a victory for the Bobcats, winning in straight sets (6-3, 6-1).
• Mauricio Fernandez earned a point for St. Thomas, defeating his opponent (6-3, 7-5).

Doubles Action

• Cubela and Fernandez dropped their contest, as the duo lost (4-8).
• Nieto and Quintella earned a victory, winning (8-5).
• Bissainthe and Michele Coletta won the final contest, picking up a victory (8-2).
