MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (April 11^th, 2019) – St. Thomas University's Men's Tennis team finished their 2019 season with a Senior Day match against Florida National University. STU Athletics honored nine Tennis players: Kevin Cubela, Mauricio Fernandez, Kiwane Norman, Rasmus Lindstrom, Francisco Velazquez, Jacobo Nieto, Jervahn Marshall, Michele Coletta and Damian Etchevest; prior to the match.
Singles

• Fernandez lost in his match (1-6, 2-6)
• Nieto was defeated (3-6, 3-6)
• Quintella fell (0-6, 1-6)
• Coletta dropped his contest (2-6, 3-6)
• Norman was defeated (4-6, 4-6)
• Dimitrius Doan lost (1-6, 2-6)

Doubles

• Fernandez and Cubela lost their final match as a duo, falling (3-8)
• Lindstromm and  Velazquez earned the lone STU win in the match, taking a point (8-4)
• Nieto and Marshall fell (1-8)

The match concludes the 2019 Men's Tennis season, as the Bobcats finish the season 3-8. Thank you to the "STU"dent-athletes for their commitment and dedication to the program, and a special thank you to the seniors that were honored this afternoon.
