MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (April 13
th, 2019) – The St. Thomas University Bobcats Softball Team (22-14, 8-10 TSC) split the double-header on Saturday afternoon at 'The Colonel' for senior day against the Warner University Royals (24-10, 10-8 TSC). Game one saw a final score in favor of the Bobcats 5-2, while game two favored the Royals 5-0.

Notes
- St. Thomas University made a quick change to have Jennifer Acevedo in the circle. Acevedo recorded her ninth victory.
- STU opened up the offense hot jumping on the board in the bottom of the first.
- G. Santos with a base hit and stole second to move into scoring position.
- An RBI single through the right side courtesy of Grafals got the first run on the board.
- E. Santos two out double to center field plated the second run of the inning give St. Thomas a 2-0 lead.
- The score remained through three innings of play.
- Warner was able to tack on one run the fourth.
- The Bobcats quickly responded in the bottom of the fifth with a three run inning.
- Senior catcher, Grafals, bolted a three-run home run off the score board to extend the lead to 5-1.
- It would be just enough insurance as the Royals tried getting a late rally going but came up short only pushing two across in the top of the sixth.

- Warner jumped on the board in the top of the first scoring a run to jump to an early 1-0 lead.
- STU stranded runners at third in the first and second innings.
- The Royals had two more two-run innings in the fifth and seventh to take a 5-0 lead.
- St. Thomas tried to rally in the bottom half of the seventh but were unable to put any runs across the board.
