st, 2019) – St. Thomas University's Baseball's (49-15) season has ended, following a loss in the Avista NAIA World Series Championship Game to top-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan (56-10), losing 6-2 on Friday night in Game 19 of the NAIA World Series.

Game Notes
- Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year, Ian Exposito (12-3), made his second career NAIA World Series start, getting the starting nod in the second National Championship in school history.
- Exposito (1-1) in the World Series was given the loss, allowing four earned runs in 4.1 innings pitched in his final collegiate start.
- TWU opened the scoring in the top of the first inning with a RBI single, making the score 1-0.
- The Bulldogs added runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to take a 5-0 lead over the Bobcats in the National Championship.
- Freshman, Joey Thompson, hit his second home run of the season over the right field fence and into the scoreboard to give STU their first run, making the score 5-1.
- TWU responded with a run, capitalizing on the fourth STU error to make the score 6-1, in the top of the sixth.
- Senior, Chris Garabedian, hit his third World Series home run of 2019 (fourth career) and eighth home run of the season, leading off the bottom of the seventh with a home run.
- Joel Rivero, Tyler Morales and Jason Graña all made appearances in the game allowing three hits over 4.2 innings.
