MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (September 8th, 2019) - St. Thomas University Men's Soccer (3-0) maintained their perfect start to the 2019 campaign, defeating the 2018 Division II National Champions, Barry University (1-1), scoring two goals in the second half to complete the 2-1 upset from Buccaneer Field.Â

- Barry opened the game with their only goal of the game in the sixth minute, taking a 1-0 lead, with a header inside the box.
- The Bobcats out-shot the Buccanneers, 4-2, in the first half and 13-5 for the match
- Within eight minutes of the second half, St. Thomas netted an equalizer, as Pablo Gil tied the match with his second goal of the season in the 53rd minute.
- In the 72nd minute, Greco recorded his first goal of the season and turned into the game-winning goal, finishing an opportunity from Rismoen inside the box.
- The STU defense stymied the BU offense the remainder of the game, completing the upset and winning the match 2-1.
