MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 18, 2020) - St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball (12-4, 5-4 TSC) improved to 9-1 at the Fernandez Family Center on the 2019-20 season, with a 70-44 win over Johnson & Wales on Saturday evening.

- Five minutes into the game, STU trailed JWU 10-3. A slam dunk from Floyd got the crowd energized as the Bobcats looked to get back into the game.
- Back-to-back buckets from Brown gave STU the lead for the first time since the opening minutes of the game.
- The Bobcats ran off an additional seven points, following Brown's baskets, extending the lead to 19-12.
- Neither team scored in the final 1:37 of the first quarter, as the Sun Conference opponents went into halftime with the Bobcats leading 27-22.
- Nick Strawter extended the St. Thomas lead at the beginning of the second half, recording five consecutive points and put STU ahead 32-22.
- Midway through the second half, Kheron Millwood recorded six consecutive points and provided hustle plays off the bench.
- Strawter added another three-pointer, putting STU ahead 57-36.
- Millwood scored 10-of-12 Â points in the second half, adding six rebounds and guiding STU to their eighth win in the last ten games.
