MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 30, 2020) - St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball (8-14, 5-7 TSC) lost at the Fernandez Family Center to No. 1 Southeastern University (20-2, 12-0 TSC) 91-44 on Thursday evening.

	- Midway through the first quarter, Brooks converted a jumper to cut the No. 1 Fire lead in half, 8-4.
- Marlena Schmidt converted back-to-back baskets for the Fire, pushing their lead to double-digits, 19-8, with under two minutes remaining.
- Samaria August recorded three consecutive shots from the charity stripe, cutting the SEU lead to 19-11, as the first quarter concluded.
- Keaubree Edwards began the second quarter, sinking a jump shot, which brought the Bobcats within six-points.
- As the second quarter reached its' halfway point, the No. 1 Fire doubled up the Bobcats score, leading 38-19.
- Vogel scored the final points of the first half for STU, as St. Thomas went into the break trailing, 47-21.
- Vogel scored a game-high for STU (8), with all points coming in the first half.
- Dozier opened the second half with back-to-back three-pointers, putting the score at 56-27.
- Domond also added consecutive baskets in the third quarter, as the Bobcats still trailed 62-33.
- STU dropped the Sun Conference game, losing 91-44 to the top-ranked Fire.
