BRUNSWICK, GA. (January 9, 2020) - St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball (6-10, 3-3 TSC) dropped their sixth consecutive contest, losing 75-50 to the College of Coastal Georgia (8-5, 4-2 TSC) on Thursday night from the Coffin Gym.

- Following 1:25 of game action, St. Thomas opened the scoring as Dozier scored on a jumper.
- Brooks added a three-point make, which extended the STU lead to 5-0 over the Mariners.
- Vogel recorded her first basket of the game, pushing the Bobcat advantage to 7-2 in the opening four minutes of the game.
- Three minutes later, Coastal Georgia tied the game, before Brooks notched another two-points to halt the run and put the score at 9-7.
- CCGA finished the first quarter on a 9-6 run, taking a 16-13 lead.
- Kayla Rodriguez cut the Mariners lead to one, 16-15, by getting on the scoreboard with two points to begin the second quarter.
- Coastal Georgia extended their lead to 32-19, with just over a minute remaining in the first half.
- Rodriguez added two more points on free throws, bringing the Bobcats deficit to 11, 32-21.
- August scored five consecutive points for STU to begin the second half, putting the score at 37-26.
- Coastal Georgia finished the quarter leading, 55-33, following a buzzer-beating three-pointer.
- Patricia Martinez - Sanz and Destiny Wilson led a quick, 5-0 run for STU, beginning the fourth quarter.
- Keaubree Edwards cut the deficit to 13, 57-44, but that was as close as St. Thomas could get, losing their sixth consecutive contest, 75-50.
