LAKELAND, Fla. (October 10, 2020) - St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer (4-2, 3-2 TSC) fell in the Sun Conference Match of the Week to the Southeastern University Fire (7-0, 5-0 TSC), 5-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Game Notes
- The Bobcats were able to strike first in the Sun Conference Match of the Week, as Manzur scored her second goal of the season to give STU a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute.
- Ferradaz set up the Manzur goal by intercepting a Fire pass, as Manzur finished the opportunity.Â
- St. Thomas remained on the offensive, with Weide and Ferradaz each taking a shot. However, neither found the back of the net.Â
- SEU tied the match in the eighth minute, 1-1.
- Manzur took her second shot on goal in the first half, but this time the attempt was saved.
- Southeastern took the lead in the 32nd minute.
- St. Thomas couldn't muster another shot for the rest of the first half and went into the second half trailing Southeastern, 2-1.Â
- SEU began to pull away in the first 15-minutes of the second half, scoring their third goal of the match.Â
- In the 62nd minute, the Fire added another goal and took a 4-1 lead over STU.Â
- Southeastern scored their fifth goal of the match in the 71st minute, scoring on a penalty shot.
- STU couldn't capitalize in the second half and went without scoring, falling to the Fire, 5-1.Â
