BABSON PARK, Fla. (December 3, 2020) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Basketball team (4-0, 2-0 TSC) continued their winning ways in 2020 and extended their winning streak with a 77-73 win over Webber International (5-1, 2-1 TSC) on Thursday evening from the Sabbagh Athletic Center in the Sun Conference Game of the Week.

- Back-to-back three-point makes from Martinez-Sanz and August led a 10-2 run by St. Thomas to open the Sun Conference Game of the Week.Â
- Rodriguez added a lay-up to extend the Bobcats advantage to double digits, 14-4.Â
- The Warriors rallied for a 9-3 run, bringing the score to 17-13 in favor of STU before an Anari Dozier lay-up halted the WIU momentum.Â
- St. Thomas ended the first quarter with a 21-17 lead.
- Dozier opened the second quarter with a three-pointer, extending the St. Thomas lead to seven points.Â
- Webber International cut its deficit to a single possession, 24-22, but Dozier added another three-point bucket as STU led by five.Â

- WIU took their first lead of the Sun Conference Game of the Week with 4:11 remaining in the first half, following consecutive free-throws, assuming a 32-34 lead over STU.
- A pair of free-throw makes from Keaubree Edwards and Domond allowed St. Thomas to reclaim the lead, 36-34.
- The Bobcats went into halftime trailing the Warriors, 38-39, in a battle of unbeaten Sun Conference foes.Â
- STU was able to get the lead back following a Domond three-point make, putting the score at 43-41.
- Halfway through the third quarter, St. Thomas led 48-44.
- Two consecutive buckets from Dozier and Brooke Bogatz gave STU its largest lead of the third quarter, 52-44.
- St. Thomas went into the fourth quarter leading 55-52, following a Dozier jumper.
- Bogatz was able to push the Bobcats lead to 59-52 after converting a lay-up.
- At the midway point of the fourth quarter, Bogatz once again maintained the STU lead with a jumper, putting the score at 65-60.
- With less than three minutes remaining in the game, Dozier finished an and-one, as STU took a 72-66 advantage,
- Rodriguez sealed the Bobcats fourth consecutive win from the free-throw line, as St. Thomas won 77-73.
