AVE MARIA, Fla. (September 26th, 2020)- St. Thomas University Women's Soccer (2-1) defeated Ave Maria University (2-1) 1-0 in double overtime on Saturday afternoon from Gyrene Field.

Game Notes: 

• In the 36th minute of the first half, Kayla Jackson attempted to give STU the lead but hit the shot wide left.
• Megan Velazquez took a shot-on-goal on goal with one minute remaining in regulation, hoping to win STU the game, but it was just wide left. 
• Lysell, Weide, Ferradaz and Anna-Lena Stein all contributed solid defense to carry the Bobcats. 
• Ferradaz scored the first goal of the entire game in the second overtime, to give the Bobcats a 1-0 win.
• Bobcat goalkeeper, Melanie Lefebvre has nine saves on the day, including two remarkable saves in the last five minutes of the game to preserve the shutout.
