MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 30, 2021)- St. Thomas University Women's Basketball (12-3, 9-3 TSC) defeated Webber International (12-5, 8-4 TSC) 68-58 Saturday afternoon from the Fernandez Family Center in the Sun Conference Game of the Week.

- Rodriguez quickly put the Bobcats on the board 2-0 in the first quarter.
- With an assist from August, Rodriguez nailed a three-pointer to bring the Bobcat lead 5-0.
- Bobcats would go on an 8-0 run over the Warriors, including a layup and extra point from Domond.
- Keaubree Edwards brought the Bobcat lead 10-3 with a layup.
- Anari Dozier recorded her first points of the game with a three-pointer, 13-3 Bobcats.
- Brooke Bogatz, with a layup and a jumper, gave the Bobcats a 12-point lead over the Warriors, 19-7.
- Bogatz would record another jumper to give the Bobcats back a double-digit lead, 21-11.
- August added to the Bobcat score in the second quarter, keeping a 10 point lead over the Warriors, 25-15.
- Domond drained a three to bring the score 28-16 in favor of the Bobcats with a little over five minutes left to play in the first half.
- Rodriguez recorded another three-pointer for the Bobcats to increase the lead over the Warriors 33-16.
- Warriors tried to close the lead on the Bobcats 18-35 with three minutes left in the first half.
- August added a free-throw to the Bobcat score, 37-21 at the half.
- August started off the half for the Bobcats with a three-pointer 40-21.
- Bobcats went on a 4-0 run at the beginning of the third quarter, 47-24, including points from Domond and Bogatz.
- Warriors started to close the lead the Bobcats maintained throughout the game, 39-47, with a minute and a half left in the third quarter.
- The third quarter ended 49-41 in favor of the Bobcats.
- August extended the Bobat lead 52-41 to start the fourth quarter.
- Martinez-Sanz put up her first points of the game with a three-pointer, 58-42.
- Warriors again tried to close the gap 50-62 with a little over two minutes left to play.
- The last few minutes of the game started a back-and-forth battle between the Bobcats and Warriors.
- STU closed out the Sun Conference Game of the Week with a 68-58 win over the Webber Warriors
