th ranked St. Thomas University (STU) Football team (7-0, 3-0 MSC) records their first shutout in program history with a 58-0 win over the University of Fort Lauderdale (0-6) from Broward County Stadium. The Bobcats continue their winning ways improving their win streak to seven on the season, setting new bars for the best start in program history,

Game Notes
First Quarter
- St. Thomas scored a program-high 21 first quarter points to take the early lead.
- The opening drive from the kick only took two plays before the Bobcats found the endzone.
- A 56-yard pass from Tyler Thomas to Joshua Beneby for the third time this season opened the scoring two minutes in making it 7-0.
- The St. Thomas defense forced four straight punts for the Eagles.
- Samir English-Brown capped off a nine play, 55-yard drive with a four-yard touchdown rush to extend the lead 14-0.
- After the Bobcat defense forced a three and out, St. Thomas immediately took advantage and scored on a Rontavious Farmer four-yard rush.

Second Quarter
- St. Thomas did not let off on the gas pedal as Xavier Mitchell applied pressure to Fort Lauderdale's punter as he fumbled the snap.
- Mitchell recovered and found the endzone to extend the lead 28-0.
- The running game continued to flow for the Bobcats as Elishah Barwell hoped in and rushed 31-yards in the drive that started on the Bobcat-25.
- Barnwell's two-yard rush made it 35-0.
- Khalil Bryan forced a fumble in the following drive that UFL was able to recover but set them for a four-yard loss.
- Colton Weismore brough the passing game back with a five-yard touchdown reception to make it 42-0.
- STU's defense continued to bring the pressure recording a safety and putting the offense back on the field with a 44-0 lead.
- C'Quan Jnopierre returned the kickoff for 36-yards to put the team in great field positioning on the visitor-17.
- Keondre Gaulden rushed for 17 total yards to score once again taking a 51-0 lead.
- Devin Phillips added the defensive front line lock down, denying a rush and setting the Eagles up for a 3rd and 40 after a 26-yard loss.

Third Quarter
- St. Thomas forced a Fort Lauderdale three and out to open the second half.
- The rush game continued but was only good for one touchdown in the third quarter from Allen Israel.
- Israel rushed for 40-yards to find the endzone and make it 58-0.
Fourth Quarter
- The quarter was cut to a 10-minute running clock quarter.
- Fort Lauderdale took up most of the time with a 15-play 75-yard drive that resulted in a Xavier Mitchell interception.
- Mitchell would just take a knee and that would end the game.
