MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (November 20, 2021) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball team (2-3, 0-3 SUN) had another second half spark but it was too little too late as they fall to Warner University (6-1, 3-0 SUN) 84-81 on Saturday afternoon from the the Fernandez Family Center.Â

- St. Thomas opened with the first basket of the game and that would be the only lead they would have in the first half.
- Warner quickly turned around and went on a 23-6 run into the first media timeout.
- After being down by 18 with five minutes left in the first half, the Bobcats rallied to bring the score within six to head into the half.
- STU went on a 18-6 run to end the half.
- Jonas Parker gave STU a boost out the gate from the half scoring two free throws and hitting a three to being the game within one possession, 48-45.
- Four three-pointers in the last three minutes brought the game within one with 40-seconds remaining.
- A turnover would deem the game over as Warner would then draw the foul and sink two free throws to close the game out at 84-81.
