WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (November 9, 2021) - The receiving votes St. Thomas Women's Soccer team (12-4-2, 5-3-1 SUN) defeated the the back-to-back NAIA National Champions and overall number one seed Keiser University (14-2, 9-0 SUN) Tuesday afternoon on the road in the Sun Conference Semifinals. The win secured the Bobcats a spot in the Sun Conference Championship Game for the first time since 2013.

Match Notes:
- Lefebvre got the starting nod in the net for the 14th time this season and secured her 12th win for the team.
- St. Thomas scored the first goal of the match in the 35th minute with an assist from Leonie Weide, Miranda Ferradez scored a header in the 35th minute.
- The rest of the half remained quite and equally competitive, with STU attempting six shots and KU attempting seven.
- Graduate student Andrea Manzur netted the Bobcats second goal from 30 yards out in the 68th minute half scored, her team leading eighth goal of the season.
- The Keiser defense miscleared the ball giving Manzur the opportunity to shoot and score while catching the Keiser goalkeeper, outside the box.
- Weide scored her fifth goal of the season with a shot from 25-yards out in the 86th minute to take a commanding 3-0 lead.
- The Bobcats defense had a shutout through the 89th minute giving up a late penalty kick due to a hand ball in the box.
- This is the first time since 2013 that the Bobcats are headed to the title game.
- Keiser will not be in the tournament game for the first time since 2015.
