WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (December 30, 2021) – The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball team (5-5) hit the floor running after nearly sitting out for almost a month of play. The team was not phased as they broke 100 on the scoreboard in their first game back and last one of the 2021 slate. The Bobcats defeated the Vermont Technical College (2-14) Saints 113-64 at the New Year's Classic hosted by Keiser University.

• The Bobcats are now 2-0 against Vermont Tech putting 100-points on the board each time.
• The last time STU scored 100-points was against VTC on December 31, 2019.

• This was the first time this starting lineup was put into the mix with Chris Whitaker making his season debut and Cameron Corcoran making his Bobcat debut.

• The team shot 53% from the field and 43% from three.
• The offense continued to roll as the team came out from the half on a 9-0 run.
• Four Bobcats scored in double-digits in just the second half alone.
• The team put up 63-points in the second half while taking almost 20-more shots than the Saints.
