BLUFFTON, S.C. (February 22, 2021) - No. 4 St. Thomas University (8-4, 5-1 TSC) completed a three-game Sun Conference series sweep over the University of South Carolina-Beaufort (6-7, 2-4 TSC) with a 12-8 win on Monday afternoon from Richard Gray Stadium.

- STU continued the trend of scoring early, as Rangel blasted a two-run home run, putting the score at 2-0.
- Rivero, R. Fernandez, and A. Fernandez recorded three consecutive extra base-hits, extending the score to 4-0.
- A. Fernandez scored on a wild pitch, adding to the Bobcats lead.
- Montesino capped off the inning with an RBI single, plating Khawly and making the score 6-0.
- Machado registered three strikeouts in the first inning.
- USCB was able to get on the scoreboard in the bottom of the second inning, scoring two on double to center-field.
- Khawly tacked on two more runs for St. Thomas in the top of the third inning, with a two-run home run to center-field, as the Bobcats took an 8-2 lead.
- Montesino came across to score on a wild pitch later in the inning.
- The Sandsharks plated two more in the bottom of the third inning, cutting into the Bobcats' advantage.
- Christian Dearman entered the game in relief of Machado, inheriting the bases-loaded and allowing only one run.
- St. Thomas responded in the top half of the fourth inning, scoring two on a Lopez double to center, putting the score 11-4.
- Yordi Cabrera replaced Dearman in the bottom of the sixth inning, striking out two.
- The Sandsharks added two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, with a two-run triple, as USCB made the score 11-6.
- In the top of the eighth inning, Lowry scored on a double play, as STU took a 12-6 lead.
- Luis Gonzalez came into pitch in the eighth inning for St. Thomas, allowing two runs.
- Jason Grana relieved in the ninth inning, striking out two and preserving the series sweep for STU.

This is the first series since April 13-14, 2018, in which St. Thomas University recorded at least 15-hits in each game.
