LAKE WALES, Fla. (March 27, 2021) - No. 18 St. Thomas University Men's Tennis (7-2, 3-1 TSC) defeated Warner University (4-5, 1-4 TSC) 6-1 Saturday afternoon.

Doubles:

• Lucas Ribas/Sebastian Bunster fell in their matchup against Bruno Passoa/Julian Cuartas (2-6).
• Thomas Andrews/Alessandro Tabares pushed past Bruno Carvalho/Joe Herin to grab the first Bobcat victory of the day (7-6, 5-0).
• The Juan Patino Pabon/Robin Calais duo racked up another victory for the Bobcats with their (6-2) win over Jake Edwards/Antonio Santos.

Singles:

• Adriel Azucey could not defeat Bruno Pessoa in his singles matchup, falling (0-6, 1-6).
• Robin Calais pushed through to be victorious (6-2, 7-5) over Joe Herin.
• Alessandro Tabares defeated Julian Cuartas in a two-set battle (6-2, 6-4).
• Thomas Andrews recorded the first Singles win of the day with the (6-1, 6-3) win over Bruno Carvalho.
• Sebastian Bunster was victorious over Antonio Santos (6-1, 6-0).
• Juan Patino Pabon did not give up a point, doing a clean (6-0, 6-0) sweep over Jake Edwards.

Upcoming:

St. Thomas University Men's Tennis travels to St. Augustine, Fla. to face Flagler College on April 2. The match start is scheduled for 2 p.m.
