LAKE WALES, Fla. (March 27, 2021) - No. 23 St. Thomas University Women's Tennis (6-5, 2-2 TSC) swept Warner University (1-6, 0-3 TSC) 6-0 Saturday afternoon.

Doubles:

• The Annie Carrera/Lia Pena duo added another win under their belt with the 6-3 defeat of Irene Arias/Danieris Santiago.
• Vanessa Centeno/Sophia Perez recorded the first win of the day for the Bobcats, topping Ellie Burningham/Savannah Hancock (6-1).

Singles:

• Annie Carrera extended her record to 18-6 with her (6-0, 6-1) victory over Irene Arias.
• Lia Pena recorded the first Singles victory of the day, one of three Bobcats not giving up a point, defeating Danieris Santiago (6-0, 6-0).
• Vanessa Centeno was the second Bobcat not to release a point, gaining a victory over Ellie Burningham (6-0, 6-0).
• Thais Shabata defeated Savannah Hancock (6-0, 6-3) in the two-set matchup. 
• Thalia Skeene was the third Bobcat not to give up a point, earning a (6-0, 6-0) victory over Daniela Mascoso

Upcoming:

St. Thomas University Women's Tennis travels to Savannah, GA., to take on No. 5 SCAD-Savannah for a ranked matchup on April 3. The match start is scheduled for 10 a.m.
